Start with strawberries fully defrosted in the fridge for the packet time. Use fruit labelled ready to eat after defrosting; the five-minute estimate excludes thawing.
Method
Check the strawberries
Use the weighed strawberries fully defrosted in the fridge, keeping their juice. If the packet requires cooking, choose a ready-to-eat product for this smoothie instead.
Measure and divide
Peel the banana. For the selected portions, measure 150 g defrosted strawberries with their juice, 60 g peeled banana, 30 g oats, 35 g vanilla whey and 150 g cold soya milk. If making several servings, divide these totals equally and blend one serving at a time. Break up the banana before filling the cup.
Fill the cup
Add one batch of fruit, oats and whey to the NutriBullet cup, then pour in its share of soya milk. Stay below MAX; split into smaller batches if needed. Secure the extractor blade and invert the cup onto the motor base.
Blend and serve
Push down and twist to blend at the single speed for 30 seconds. Stop and check, then blend for another 10–15 seconds if needed. Stop and wait for the blade before removing the cup. If it is too thick, add a little of the optional 30 g cold water, shared between the batches, and briefly blend again. Pour into a glass and drink straight away.
Keeping the rest
Blend just before drinking. Keep soya milk and defrosted strawberries refrigerated and follow the shorter of their packet storage limits.
Settings are per batch. For 1 portion, prepare 1 batch. Split the ingredient totals between batches; keep the settings the same. Timings are starting estimates unless the programme sets them automatically.
NutriBullet
Use the extractor blade and a compatible cup. Add the fruit, oats and powder, then cold soya milk. Stay below MAX; use one serving per blend or split it further if needed.
Control
Single speed · push down and twist to run; untwist to stop.
Blend time
30 sec, then check. If needed, blend another 10–15 sec. No heat setting.
These blending times are starting estimates. Keep each run under 60 seconds and let the motor rest for at least a minute before repeating a full cycle. If the cup feels warm, let it cool fully before opening.

Reference values and assumptions
Whey protein powder. Uses the vanilla Impact Whey label as a reference. Fibre is assumed negligible because it is not declared. Your flavour or brand may differ. Source
Recipe notes
Vanilla whey supplies sweetness. Unflavoured whey works but tastes less sweet; a different flavour or brand changes the nutrition estimate.
Nutrition uses the recorded vanilla Impact Whey profile, not your own bag. Weigh the powder and check its label. Whey contains milk even though the liquid here is soya milk.
Oats thicken as they stand. Use the optional cold water to loosen the smoothie without adding more milk.
Extra servings need separate blends. The ready-in time allows three more minutes per extra serving; smaller cups may need additional batches.
